Worked as an independent software developer to provide clients with efficient, helpful and usable software applications. Most work has been in the e-Learning field or in the field of building energy analysis and simulation. Developed both desktop and web-based solutions, including user interface design and front-end and back-end software -- always with a focus on usability and efficient, clean code.
Current and former clients include iBiology, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratories, Fenestralia (AU), Vitesse Learning, The Deringer Group, Simulat Interactive, Apexion Software, Mueller design and others. Technologies include Open edX, Django, MySQL, Postgres, AWS (multiple services), Angular, Javascript, AngularDart, Dart, Apache Flex/ Adobe AIR, EnergyPlus, Window7, Therm, and many other languages, frameworks and applications.
